The task of the present PhD is to assess the impact of climate change on invertebrate herbivores above and belowground and the interaction of these herbivores with other organisms consuming plant carbon – in particular from the rhizosphere biota. The project should also assess insect diversity and population development under climate change. The project will be rooted in functional ecology and include a strong aspect of conservation e.g. heathland and grassland management.
